About Sara
Sara Whitmore, a longtime Brooklynite, chose primary care because “it affords me the extraordinary privilege of building meaningful relationships with people to help them stay healthy.” She particularly enjoys focusing on depression, anxiety, weight management, LGBTQ health, chronic conditions and womens' wellness. Sara enjoys working with people in mid-life as they confront changes in their health or strive to maintain good health. She is also adept at helping patients build motivation to change their lifestyles and she prides herself on being an attentive, non-judgmental listener. Sara is a parent of two young kids who spends her days off at local playgrounds. She also appreciates any chance travel to beautiful places or hunker down with a good book. Sara attended Kenyon College as an undergraduate and graduated from Columbia University’s Adult Nurse Practitioner program. She is AANP-certified.
