Emily Tatel enjoys addressing all aspects of health and wellness, which is why primary care appeals to her. She is impressed by One Medical Group’s energy and commitment to efficiency within the medical system, and she shares the group’s passion for patient-centered health promotion and prevention. Emily’s practice style is patient-centered and goal-oriented with an emphasis on health promotion and harm reduction. She listens closely to her patients and meets them where they are with respect to goal setting. She always offers positive reinforcement for healthy behaviors and is grateful to patients for allowing her to be a part of their care team. Emily particularly enjoys working in areas of adolescent medicine, women’s health, diabetes management, and preventative health and education. She believes self-care, physical activity, and being in nature are the cornerstones of good health. To stay healthy herself, Emily enjoys running and hiking, and loves crafting and spending time with her husband and two boys. She also volunteers in her children’s school and co-manages their soccer team. Emily is a graduate of Samuel Merritt University and is AANP-certified.
