Senayt Alemu, DO
Washington
Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.
Hi I'm Senayt (Sen-night), I grew up in the DMV and I'm excited to give back to my community. I am an internal medicine trained physician. I appreciate a more holistic approach to care— considering your health, lifestyle, and goals—not just your symptoms. I believe the patient-doctor relationship is a partnership, where my role is to guide and inform based on my knowledge and experience, so my patients feel informed in making decisions about their health.
How I stay healthy and happy
I love reading (love book clubs), all things music (concerts, listening parties, festivals) and traveling. And spending quality time with family and friends keeps me happy and healthy.
