Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).
I take pride in providing a safe environment for my patients to make them feel heard and cared for in a way they need to see it. With experience in addiction medicine, gastroenterology, and integrative nurse coaching, my approach is focused on the whole person. I enjoy partnering with patients about the health issues and goals that are important to them and empowering them to become advocates of their own health. I value compassion, kindness, and empathy. I’m passionate about preventive health, helping manage chronic health conditions, and the importance of mental and emotional health in the overall well-being.
How I stay healthy and happy
I work out at the gym, listen to all kinds of music, and love nature. I’m a hip hop dancer in a dance company based in San Francisco and love to create choreography. I value quality time and love spending time with my partner, family, and friends.
