Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I am passionate about helping patients determine their personal health priorities, identify appropriate wellness goals and take the initial steps required to achieve the outcomes they desire. I strive to equip individuals with the tools they need to make informed health decisions. I also focus on helping my patients implement small, achievable changes that will increase overall well-being, improve mental health and manage chronic conditions. I find joy in empowering patients to believe that change is possible, they are stronger than they know, and wellness can be attained.
How I stay healthy and happy
I like to be outside exploring nature and participating in my local community. I also enjoy experimenting with new recipes, crawling through antique shops, and shopping with my sisters. I am passionate about the arts, music, and theatre. My happy place is hiking to a waterfall, or attending a theatre production.
