Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
Through my years of primary care experience, I've used a warm and personable approach with my patients and created a judgment-free environment for patients to openly discuss health issues, ask questions, and share their concerns. I am an engaged and careful listener who takes the time with patients to educate them and give them a complete understanding of their specific conditions and overall health. While I enjoy all aspects of primary care, I have a special interest in Women's Health, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Acne, and the intersection of these diagnoses. I help patients to manage these and all concerns through a blend of lifestyle modification and medical management.
As a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine provider, I enjoy helping patients use evidence-based lifestyle strategies—including nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and social connection—to prevent disease and improve overall health. For patients interested in this approach, I offer customized lifestyle prescriptions and focused visits to support sustainable, high impact changes to improve their health and longevity.
I am also passionate about supporting patients through menstrual health challenges and transitions. I am certified by The Menopause Society and have experience diagnosing and caring for patients through perimenopause and menopause. I have spent more than a decade working to improve the diagnosis and treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and many patients work with me for help navigating this often misunderstood condition. My goal is to help patients better understand their hormonal health and develop individualized, evidence-based plans to manage symptoms and support long-term wellbeing.
