I believe that true happiness comes from caring for others and not expecting anything in return. With this attitude, I treat every patient with respect and dignity as I provide them the best possible care. From my background as an ICU and ER nurse, I have taken care of patients with a wide range of acuities. My experience has taught me that every individual is unique and regardless of their acuity or presenting symptoms, they want to know that you care and listen to their concerns. I strive to meet the expectation of every patient I have the opportunity to care for.
How I stay healthy and happy
Most of my free time is spent working with my organization (SSI), which helps children and families in Africa. I also love spending time with my family, playing board games, and hanging out on warm beaches.
