Kamilah Crawford, PA
Emeryville
Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
I approach medicine with empathy, active listening, and a strong belief in treating the whole person—not just the condition. I focus on building real partnerships with my patients, working together to create personalized care plans that reflect their unique goals, lifestyles, and cultural backgrounds. I view education as a key part of care and strive to help each patient feel informed, empowered, and confident in their health decisions. I am especially passionate about integrating mental health and lifestyle changes into every aspect of care, with the goal of supporting overall well-being—not just managing symptoms. My clinical interests include anxiety and depression, diabetes management, hypertension, women’s health, and preventive care.
How I stay healthy and happy
To stay happy and healthy, I prioritize spending time with friends and family—whether that’s going on hikes, planning trips, or enjoying a relaxed paint night together. I also love creative outlets like candle making and find joy in exploring new hobbies. When I need to recharge, I listen to a good podcast, read something inspiring, or take a walk outdoors. I believe mental wellness is just as important as physical health, and I try to make space for the things that bring me joy and keep me grounded.
