Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed and board-certified physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. DOs emphasize a whole-person approach to treatment and receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system called osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). DOs at One Medical typically practice in the field of family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine, and may also integrate OMT.

Apoorva takes a complete approach to her patients’ care; she believes in partnering with her patients and their families and approaching their medical needs with an open mind. She encourages people to take responsibility for their health while helping them meet their health goals. She's a huge supporter of preventive medicine and meets patients wherever they are in their medical journey.

To stay healthy herself, Apoorva leads a very active lifestyle and enjoys running. In her free time, she loves to travel and splurge on Broadway shows and cooking classes. Apoorva earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery and was chief resident her third year. She also holds a master's degree in public health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
