Alicia Buchwalter, MD
Washington
Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
I entered the primary care field because I enjoy developing relationships with my patients over time and addressing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, as well as assisting them with preventative care. Hoping to broaden my experience by working with a new patient population, I gravitated toward the energy of One Medical Group and appreciated the organization's patient-centered care philosophy. I believe close listening and collaboration are crucial components of care, and I make patient education a priority, always encouraging positive health changes with a supportive attitude. I am particularly interested in women's health, preventive care, and chronic disease management. I am ABIM-certified.
To stay healthy, I enjoy cooking nutritious meals for my family, exercising in a boot camp program, and practicing yoga. In my spare time, I spend time with family and friends, try new restaurants, and catch up on baseball.
