Mia is an evidence-based provider who empowers patients to take control of their own health through education and positive lifestyle changes. She takes a comprehensive, holistic approach to health care, developing strong bonds with patients and working collaboratively to improve their physical and psychosocial health. She is particularly passionate about women's health, chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and gerontology. Mia keeps herself healthy by practicing yoga, swimming, and hiking. In her free time, she enjoys cooking nutritious meals with ingredients from her garden, reading, travelling, and spending time with her four children. She graduated from the UCLA School of Nursing and completed her Master’s degree at the UCSF School of Nursing. She is certified through ANCC and NCC.
