William Lu, MD

William is a passionate and friendly provider who takes an evidence-based approach to medicine. He works collaboratively with patients to determine positive lifestyle changes and sets realistic goals for achieving them. He forms long-term relationships with patients to establish an open dialogue based on trust and create an individualized approach to care. To keep himself healthy, he lifts weights and goes biking regularly. He enjoys watching the Golden State Warriors, trying new restaurants, and playing the violin. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is happy to see patients who are native speakers. William is a Bay Area native who graduated from the University of California, San Diego and the American University of the Caribbean. He completed a residency at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis and a fellowship at the University of Arizona. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
