About Valerie
Valerie has decades of experience managing acute to complex primary care problems in patients from young adults to seniors. She’s particularly interested in general preventive care, patient education, diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol/cardiac risk management, and mental health care (including treatment of anxiety and depression). She likes to work with patients in partnership, using a whole-body approach to health and well-being.
To stay healthy and happy, Valerie enjoys reading, international travel, white water rafting, foreign films, snorkeling, listening to music, and trying new restaurants. She earned her master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania. She’s board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
