I value the importance of clinical fit between patient and clinician in working together towards one’s self-identified personal goals. My expertise is about practice and processes, not just problems and pathologies. By developing a solid foundation of engagement with each patient, I foster a strong sense of collaboration that results in meaningful change and growth. I find the most successful outcomes stem from a person-centered, strength-based approach. I have a depth of experience working with individuals addressing LGBTQ+ issues, adjustment to life events that impact anxiety, stress, and depression, as well as the integration of behavioral and physical health and wellness. As I support patients in addressing their needs, I remain grounded while providing insight, perspective, and humor all within a safe, and trusting environment.
How I stay healthy and happy
Hiking/backpacking trips in the mountains, swimming, staying physically active without going to the gym, pretending to be a handyman while learning to fix up an old house.
