Terese Tatum, NP

Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).

Approachable and compassionate, Terese bases her practice in collaborative, evidence-based medicine. She works with her patients to establish practical treatment plans, incorporating up-to-date medical resources and an understanding of the patient's needs. In addition to her commitment to primary care, she has strong interests in oncology, hematology, and infectious disease treatment. She received her master’s degree in nursing from UCSF and also an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Terese is board-certified in Family Medicine.
