Education: UCSF School of Nursing

Susan seeks to build strong, long-term relationships with her patients and is passionate about partnering with people to make healthcare choices that are effective, sustainable, and aligned with their values. She has an open-minded approach to meeting patients where they are and believes there isn't a one-size-fits-all solution to many health issues.

To feel her best, Susan focuses on the triumvirate of healthy food, regular exercise, and practicing mindfulness on a daily basis. Outside of work, she loves to cook for her family, travel, go for runs and bike rides, play the piano, knit, and read fiction. When she has time, she volunteers with Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, an organization dedicated to alleviating isolation in our elder population. Susan earned her master's degree in nursing from UCSF's School of Nursing.
