Sees all ages
Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I value a sincere, compassionate, respectful provider-patient relationship that incorporates patient preferences, beliefs, and diversity as an individual. I enjoy partnering with patients of all ages with a broad range of clinical problems, and especially seniors and those with chronic conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease. My philosophy incorporates promotion and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle while encouraging patients to be active participants in their own care and healthcare decisions.
How I stay healthy and happy
To stay healthy, I power walk, do resistance training, and meditate. My hobbies include trying out new recipes, gardening, reading, and nature walks.
