Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).

About Susan
Susan is a compassionate provider with a holistic and collaborative approach to medicine. She listens to the concerns of patients and works with them to create treatment plans that fit their needs and lifestyle. She’s especially interested in talking to patients about preventive health, obesity, diabetes, prediabetes.

To stay happy and healthy, Susan exercises regularly, cooks healthy meals at home, spends time with her family, travels, and reads. She earned her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Georgetown University. She’s board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She’s also a certified diabetes educator.
