I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and my Master’s Degree in Psychological Studies from Seton Hall University and have over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I have experience across a variety of treatment settings including inpatient mental health, outpatient partial hospitalization/IOP programs, youth and adolescent residential programs, and eating disorder treatment centers. I have worked with youth/adolescents, adults, and families, as well as in group settings. I tend to use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and Psycho-Education to assist individuals on their treatment journey. I believe in partnering with clients to utilize their strengths, help them sort out their challenges, and achieve their goals. I also realize how important it is to identify all aspects of an individual’s life that impact their well-being including their physical health, support systems, work or school environment, and faith/spirituality in this process. I believe that individuals who have the motivation to improve and courage to seek help when needed have the ability to make progress towards achieving their goals.
