Over the past 20+ years as a family physician, I have always felt it is an honor and a privilege to be allowed into patients’ lives to better understand and support them and their health goals. I very much enjoy taking care of the whole family (all ages!) and the whole person. Everyone has different backgrounds and circumstances that affect their health and their experience of the medical system — taking the time to understand these is key to good care. I strongly believe that having a provider who truly listens and cares should be a part of every patient’s medical experience. Interests: Preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, senior care, and women’s health.
How I stay healthy and happy
Out of work I love spending time with my family — I often attend our two children’s sporting events (hockey goalie Mom!) and walking on wooded trails with my husband and 10-year-old dog. I also enjoy dancing, yoga, and swimming in or just spending time around lakes and the ocean.
