I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in primary care and a passion for promoting wellness across the lifespan. My clinical experience spans a wide range of health needs—from preventive care and chronic disease management to behavioral health support and lifestyle interventions. I provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families of all ages, addressing both physical and emotional health in a thoughtful, integrated way. My goal is always to treat the whole person, not just a set of symptoms. My approach is participatory, holistic, and empowering. I believe in building strong, collaborative relationships with my patients and encouraging them to take an active role in their health. Together, we work on setting realistic goals, identifying and addressing unhealthy patterns, and developing lifelong habits that support overall well-being. While my primary focus is family practice and primary care, my training in psychiatry allows me to recognize and support the emotional and behavioral aspects of health as well. I draw on that expertise when appropriate to help manage mood disorders, stress-related concerns, and other mental health challenges that can impact physical wellness. I’m committed to helping individuals and families feel heard, informed, and confident in their health journeys.
How I stay healthy and happy
To stay grounded and maintain my own well-being, I make time for the things that bring me joy and connection. I enjoy reading and sewing as ways to relax and recharge. Traveling with my family is especially meaningful—we love creating memories together and exploring new places. I also find a lot of joy in attending volleyball tournaments, which not only keep me active and engaged, but also allow me to support the people I love. In addition, I’m passionate about giving back through community volunteering, which allows me to stay connected, serve others, and contribute to the health and well-being of those around me.
