Seth grew up in the northern Maine woods and was a diesel mechanic before going to Boston University for biomedical engineering. Dr. Miller conducted research in infectious diseases at Tufts University and later in orthopedic oncology and biomaterials at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Rice University. Working with patients at MD Anderson led him to medical school at the University of Texas, where he and his wife met.
How I stay healthy and happy
Outside his professional life, Dr. Miller is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, biking, and scuba diving. His creative pursuits include playing musical instruments, songwriting, drawing, sculpting, and building various projects. Above all, he cherishes his role as a father and is devoted to his daughter.
