Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
I believe that preventing disease should be the main focus in today's healthcare and, in order to achieve that, I encourage a healthy diet, lifestyle, and exercise in my patients and listen to their needs and beliefs to have the necessary individual approach that will allow them to succeed in this path. After completing a fellowship in cardiovascular disease prevention, and realizing that most of the chronic medical conditions we see nowadays have overweight and obesity as a common denominator, I pursued further training in weight management becoming board-certified in obesity medicine to be able to better help my patients.
How I stay healthy and happy
In my free time, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, cooking nutritious and tasty foods, as well as traveling, and spending time with friends, family and dog.
