I am a deep feeling and compassionate person. I work with patients to develop insight, heal trauma, and reduce suffering using a goal-oriented, holistic, and intersectional approach. I believe that change occurs through identifying opportunities for growth and challenging distorted thoughts and unhelpful behaviors. I support my patients in expanding their self-understanding while honoring their cultural experiences and identities. I am oriented in social justice and influenced by Eastern philosophies, a Liberation Health Framework, and anti-oppressive/feminist theories. I welcome patients of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, as well as QTPOC and any LGBTQIA identified folks. I have extensive experience working with issues of racial identity development and racial trauma.
How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy playing classical piano, walking in my neighborhood, and spending time with my family.
