About Paula
Paula believes that open communication and being an approachable provider are the keys to exceptional patient care. Working in family medicine and pediatric urgent care has helped her see the benefits of preventive care and evidence-based medicine. Her experience with medical mission work has also reminded her to treat patients as a whole and understand the social and environmental factors in their lives. She’s passionate about educating physician assistant students and passes these lessons along to them.
To stay healthy and happy, Paula thoroughly enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking interesting new meals, listening to live music, and attending music festivals. She earned her master’s degree as a physician assistant at Pace University. She’s board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
