Paul Scheel, PA-C
New York
Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
About Paul
Paul’s goal is to help every patient live a happy, healthy, long life, and his approach is truly patient-focused. One size does not fit all in medicine, so he enjoys collaborating with patients, coupling the findings of evidence-based medicine with an individual's beliefs and goals to develop a care plan that’s best suited to them. While he finds all areas of medicine fascinating, he has a strong affinity for sports medicine, preventive medicine, LGBTQ+ patient care, sexual health, and the care and management of chronic conditions.
As a former collegiate athlete and coach, Paul likes to stay physically active. A midwest transplant, he loves to explore the city, and also frequently gets out of the city to be in open spaces. He actively practices positive thinking, maintains an attitude of gratitude, and balances his time between travel and exploration, cooking, reading, and spending quality time with family, friends, and his dogs. Paul earned his master’s degree as a physician assistant from Drexel University. He’s board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
