Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I believe that building a strong patient-provider relationship is the first and most important step in my patients’ journey toward good health and well-being. Healthcare is not one-size-fits-all, therefore, I use an evidence-based approach to develop a plan with each of my patients to help them reach their individual health goals. In my experience, emotional trauma, socioeconomic factors, and poor coping strategies often derail treatment adherence, health planning, and other preventive care measures. For this reason, I’m passionate about mental health. I believe that emotional and mental well-being are the foundations of good health.
