My style is warm, collaborative and relational. I strive to create a safe and supportive space to hear your story, explore, collaborate and guide with the understanding that you are the expert of your own life. Therapy is often the first place where we feel truly heard, understood and validated, and I find this to be very powerful. I use an integrative, strengths-based approach including psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies. I also use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which has been found to be highly effective not only with PTSD, but with other mental health concerns including depression and anxiety. My focus is in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions and trauma.
