About Nina
Nina applies empathetic listening and a patient-centered approach to address primary care needs across a lifespan. She is especially passionate about sexual and reproductive health, LGBTQI care, and preventative health. Nina sees herself as a health advocate for patients and enjoys collaborating with patients on care plans that work with their lifestyle. Nina is particularly skilled in gender-affirming care, cervical cancer prevention (including colposcopy), and contraception (including Nexplanon and IUD placement). Originally raised in Chicago, Nina moved to the Bay area to increase access to reproductive health, and transgender and gender expansive care. Her focused-training in family, adult, and child-adolescent health enables Nina to provide human-centered care for all identities and ages. To stay grounded, Nina spends her time outdoors hiking trails, perusing bookstores, and learning about herbal and Mexican traditional medicine.
