As a strengths-based, culturally sensitive practitioner, I aim to empower clients on the healing path to well-being. During sessions, I guide clients with practical, evidence-based skills to promote strategies to break unhealthy patterns and cycles, including addiction. Many of my favorite influences come from neuroscience, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), sensorimotor, compassion-based CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and mindfulness.
How I stay healthy and happy
Weekly beach walks, cycling, cooking for family and friends, traveling and exploring new locales, culture and art experiences such as art galleries, live theater, opera, or jazz events
