Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
My goal is to empower patients so that they can make decisions that are best for them to reach their health goals. I try to partner with my patients by providing them with knowledge about their conditions and offer an integrative approach offering the addition of alternative medicine options. I feel it is important for patients to understand the risks and the benefits of any intervention. I think it is important to listen to patients concerns and make sure their questions are answered.||I have a strong interest in preventative medicine, using nutrition as well as physical and mental wellness to help prevent illness, minimize injuries and improve quality of life. It is important to me that my patients reach their health and wellness goals.||||
How I stay healthy and happy
I try to stay healthy by spending time out in nature, walking/hiking, enjoying hot springs and meditation. I love listening to live music as well as playing the guitar and ukulele. I think it is important to be present in all the moments life offers us and have gratitude and appreciation for my family, friends and community.
