Matthew Weber, MD
Miami
Doctor of Medicine, a common medical school degree for physicians. MDs at One Medical typically specialize in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics or pediatrics.
From newborn babies to well-child visits and adolescent medicine, I enjoy working in pediatrics as a Family Medicine trained physician. I enjoy the humanity of medicine as I am a people person. I strive to know my patients on a deeper level to understand their cultural beliefs and future goals. I believe that as a physician, it is my job to help educate my patients and guide them toward their health goals. We all have the power to heal ourselves, but it takes lasting changes to our framework, largely in the areas of movement, nutrition, and mindfulness. I also believe that movement, in its many forms, is an absolute necessity for human functions such as sleeping, eating, and drinking water. I hope to have a larger impact on the community during my career as a physician as I advocate for movement and better infrastructure to get us moving.
In my free time, I love good music, biking to and from work, running, weights, and calisthenics. I also love getting out on the water in Miami, either paddle boarding or sailing. Fun fact, I was a US level 3 Sailing coach for kids for seven summers prior to going full-time into medicine! I also enjoy the arts, including throwing on the pottery wheel and capturing moments through cinematography.
