Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).
When she's not working, Margaret exercises to stay healthy and enjoys travel, good food, volunteering, and sports. She serves as the co-chair of the New York Junior League's Playground Improvement Project. Margaret earned both a bachelor's degree and master's degree in nursing from Simmons College. She's board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
