Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I became a primary care provider because of my passion for preventative medicine. My approach to care is evidence-based, patient-centered, and emphasizes shared decision-making. My goal as a primary care provider is to empower patients to make the best decisions for themselves and their health. I am particularly interested in women's health, mental health, and preventive health. I have 8 years of experience working in the Emergency Department and am comfortable caring for individuals with diverse backgrounds and medical complaints.
How I stay healthy and happy
My health is my number one priority, love to stay active by strength training, running, and going on hikes. I love to travel and explore new places. My favorite hobby is being a foster mom to kittens.
