Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
My approach to each patient is unique and is driven by the patient's values, priorities, life situation, and health goals. When faced with a health problem, I believe that the patient often possesses the answer to their own diagnosis and that if we take the time to ask the right questions in the right way we can significantly decrease the amount of testing needed to diagnose a problem.
Mental health is of utmost importance to our overall health. My patients' mental well-being is one of my primary considerations when forming a long-term provider/patient relationship.
