I completed medical school in Cuba, which very much aligned with my values of preventive medicine and public health, guided by the bio-psychosocial model that views health from both a holistic perspective and social justice lens. I believe health and well-being are interconnected to all the various aspects that contribute to our overall health -- including mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health; as well as having access to adequate support and resources.
How I stay healthy and happy
My hobbies/passions/interest include global health, traveling, yoga, baking, listening to live music and cheering for the Warriors -- go Dubs! :)
