Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
I love being a primary care provider because I love treating the whole person and helping my patients navigate our complex health care system. I see my role as a guide, helping my patients make informed decisions about their health to reach their individual goals. I treat chronic disease with a lifestyle medicine approach, with an emphasis on the role that diet, exercise, sleep, and social and mental well-being affect a person’s whole body health.
