Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I am passionate about patient education and preventive medicine. My focus is patient centered to meet my patients where they are and create trusting relationships. I believe in partnering with patients to meet their long term and short term health goals through a holistic approach. I have a special interest in women's health and sexual health across the lifespan, especially during times of transition. I am also interested in mindfulness and using healthy nutrition as a way of addressing prevention and management of chronic conditions.
How I stay healthy and happy
To stay active, I enjoy dancing, biking, yoga and teaching mind body exercise modalities. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, walking the city with my Great Dane and visiting local farmers markets for seasonal produce.
