Nurse Practitioner, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who complete master’s-level training and board certification and who practice medicine independently. Related degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner), and APNP (Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner).
I try to empower and support patients in their efforts to manage their health. I discuss and educate about how their choices may impact their overall health, and work with them to set reasonable goals. I continue to incorporate my experience within the specialties of gynecology, gastroenterology, and internal medicine, which allow me to maintain a well-rounded approach to healthcare.
How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy spending time with my family, cheering on my kids as they play soccer and watching Christmas movies year round. I enjoy running and weight training in efforts to keep up with my very active kids.
