Kayla Spring, PA
Carlsbad
Physician Assistant, an advanced practice degree for primary care providers who undergo extensive practical training and board certification, and are licensed to practice medicine including the full range of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
My approach to healthcare is very much patient centered. Engagement and participation of the patient and their entire healthcare team leads to better care and outcomes. In the Bay Area I found that many of my patients sought integrative and alternative options to traditional medical care. I took that information and started working my way towards earning a certificate in integrative medicine and herbal medicine at the University of Minnesota.
How I stay healthy and happy
I practice yoga several times per week. I am a voracious reader and love being a part of book clubs. I also hike and love exploring new parks around the country.
