Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).
Katrina is a primary care provider who works collaboratively with patients to create unique treatment plans that fit their individual needs and health goals. She emphasizes positive lifestyle changes, focusing on preventive health with a special interest in women's health and contraception counseling. To keep herself healthy, she enjoys running, practicing yoga, and gardening. In her free time, she loves traveling and exploring new places, as well as making pottery and sharing healthy recipes with friends and family. She graduated from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
