Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).
I take a collaborative approach to medicine, meeting each person where they are physically and emotionally. I strive to create a safe environment, listening carefully to patients’ concerns, and empowering them to take charge of their health. I am particularly interested in women's health, adolescent care, and mental well-being.
How I stay healthy and happy
In my free time I enjoy running in Central Park, exploring different neighborhoods, and going to the beach with my husband and daughter.
