About Katharine
Kate seeks to help parents and families as well as individuals find healthier ways to live, interpreting the medical literature as it applies to each person’s life. She thinks it’s important to seek a measure of grace for the bodies we have and find how to live in them with joy and purpose. She especially enjoys going on the journey of pregnancy and parenting with her patients, exploring what’s known scientifically and what’s just advice from a fellow traveller with the goal of raising happy and healthy kids. She also has plenty of non-parenting patients.
To keep herself healthy and happy, Kate enjoys getting outside in boats and on bikes as well as trying to make her backyard into a farm. She earned her medical degree at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai before completing her residency at Tufts - Cambridge Health Alliance. She’s board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
