Compassionate and holistic in her approach to medicine, Julia enjoys building trusting relationships with patients and working with them to set realistic steps to achieve their health goals. She uses evidence-based medicine and education to guide patients as they make important decisions along their health journey. Julia keeps herself healthy by cooking nutritious meals from her garden, walking her dogs, and spending time outdoors with her family. When not at work, she enjoys playing the piano and traveling. She graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and earned a Masters of Public Health from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She served in the United States Army as a physician and completed her residency as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the Tripler Army Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
