I then spent six years on the medical school faculty at UNC Chapel Hill, based at the South East AHEC in Wilmington, where I also served as the Residency Program Director in Internal Medicine and the Vice Chair of Medicine at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. I also hold a master's in public health from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and am a Medical Officer in the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration, where I work on Affordable Care Act projects related to growing the nation's primary care workforce.
