Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).

About Jessica
Jessica believes empathy, compassion, careful listening, and open communication are key in establishing a trusting, nurturing relationship with each patient. She sees her patients as partners in their care and she seeks to empower them to reach their health goals. Jessica is passionate about quality healthcare that involves the whole family.

To stay healthy, Jessica enjoys yoga, hiking with her two sons, swimming, snorkeling/scuba diving, and paddle boarding. In her free time, she also loves spending time with friends and family, eating out, going to the beach, traveling, experiencing new cultures, and making memories. Jessica earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Clemson University before getting her master's degree from Georgia State University's Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She's board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
