Nurse Practitioner, a degree for nurses who complete master’s-level training and board certification in order to practice medicine. As nurses, NPs bring a special sort of caring to their work. Alternate degrees include ANP (Adult Nurse Practitioner), FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner), and WHNP (Women's Health Nurse Practitioner).
I have a strong passion for inclusive, holistic, contextual, quality health care. I welcome and appreciate diversity and aim to collaborate with each individual to ensure we find the best treatment taking into account mental, physical, and emotional needs. I adhere to trauma-informed, gender-empowering, and body-positive care. I have special interests in kinesiology, women's health, LGBTQ+ care, obesity medicine, late adolescence, and medication assisted treatment (MAT).
How I stay healthy and happy
Outside of work, I am most happy being outdoors including backpacking, kayaking, and gardening. I also enjoy gym sessions, sourdough baking, and woodworking.
