My approach is direct, empathic, and grounded in over fifteen years of experience providing therapy and diagnostic assessments to a diverse range of patients grappling with a broad range of conditions and circumstances. With both master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, my work is grounded in evidence-based treatments and informed by current findings in brain science. I believe that each of us has within ourselves all that we need to be whole and well. At times, it helps to get a different perspective from an objective professional who is not part of our everyday life. Other times, we need to upgrade skills in certain areas, uncover blind spots, heal aspects of ourselves, or make a change to our behavior, thinking, or emotions. Change is not always easy, and it takes courage and willingness to venture into new territory.
How I stay healthy and happy
I keep a daily yoga and meditation practice, play the piano, and stay active outdoors in almost any sort of weather.
