About Maya
Maya (Esther’s nickname) strives to take a great history from each patient so she has a good understanding of their past and present medical needs. She especially enjoys women's health, puberty education, pediatrics, obesity care, LGBTQ+ care, transgender hormone management, HIV prevention and care, mental health management, and giving each patient an in-depth explanation about their diagnosis and treatment.
To stay healthy and happy, Maya loves yoga, hiking, beach volleyball, farmer's markets, and taking her dogs to the park with her family. She earned her master’s degree as a physician assistant from MCPHS University and she’s board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
