I am passionate about health, wellness, and disease prevention. I will work with you where you are on your health journey, and my goal is to guide you in the right direction toward your health goals. I will prescribe medications as necessary, but I will not overlook how important our lifestyles are for our overall health and well-being. People are not one size fits all, so why should health care be that way?
How I stay healthy and happy
I enjoy regular exercise (strength training and running), meditation, hiking, and spending quality time with my daughter. We love spur-of-the-moment weekend trips, exploring new places, roller coasters, and anything outdoors. I love to eat healthy, but absolutely hate cooking, so that is always a struggle in my home! I strive to live the life I preach, but I am by no means perfect. In fact, my close friends know that they can always cheer me up with a bag of gluten-free pretzels and a tub of cake frosting. Moderation is key! My future goals are really aimed at continuing to improve myself so that I can continue to help others. I am a lifelong learner, and primary care is such a great role to bring knowledge from so many different avenues!
